WHO WE ARE
The AEC is a team of experienced practitioners offering an alternative education curriculum built around practical skills such as carpentry, mechanics, metalwork, bricklaying, and more. Alongside this we focus on improving behaviour, building self-esteem, and supporting social and emotional growth.
We work with young people who need a different approach to education, helping them gain employability skills and AQA vocational units while developing self-awareness, confidence, and responsibility.
WE CAN HELP YOUNG PEOPLE WHO:
• Struggle with mainstream education
• Need to develop practical and employability skills
• Want to learn a trade
• Have learning difficulties or disabilities
• Require a personalised work development program
• Lack social skills, emotional literacy, and self-esteem
• May be vulnerable or socially disadvantaged
• Come from families facing barriers to education and employment
